Further Automation Thanks to
Third Digital Printer
To improve production quality and increase automation, the Interbau plant has been equipped with a new digital printer from Projecta Engineering S.r.l.
Digital printing of ceramic products has revolutionized the tile industry, offering unbeatable advantages such as crisp, high-resolution prints and precise application. Even in the GIGA-Line® production, this state-of-the-art printing technology is used for XXL-sized products.
At the Interbau site, an old printer was now retired to make room for the new machine, ensuring a smooth transition to modernized, automated production.
To accommodate the new digital printer in the production facility, the roof at the relevant section was professionally removed, the printer was lifted in by crane, and the mechanics carefully positioned it on site.
The printer is currently being commissioned and will soon be linked in sequence with the existing printers, ready to optimize production at the Ransbach-Baumbach site.
Thanks to the digitalization of Interbau’s production, shaped tiles such as Florentiner and Längsschenkel can now be fully printed. Home Collection series with shaped tiles include, among others, the Landscape and Atrium series.
